Sometimes an illustration, with all of it’s imperfections, captures the essence of a person just well as a photograph. The simplicity of a black line on paper can capture so much. The white space of a highlight can speak volumes. How the line is placed on paper may change and vary, but the goal is the same – to find the person behind the picture.
